Technical Dossier
The Hirschmann MM3-4FXM4 is a fiber optic media module designed for integration into Hirschmann's MICE and MACH series managed industrial switches. It enables copper-to-fiber conversion, extending network reach and improving electromagnetic immunity in harsh industrial environments — a critical requirement in sectors such as oil & gas, steel & metallurgy, power generation, and process automation.
As global lead times for legacy Hirschmann modules continue to stretch beyond 12–26 weeks through OEM channels, procurement managers face a binary choice: accept production downtime or qualify an alternative supply source. DriveKNMS maintains verified stock of the MM3-4FXM4 and can confirm availability within one business day of inquiry.

Procurement decisions for industrial network modules are rarely about unit price alone. The true cost of a sourcing failure includes unplanned downtime, emergency freight premiums, and engineering hours spent on workarounds. For a single production line stoppage, the cost per hour can range from $5,000 to $50,000+ depending on the industry.
Spare Parts Turnover Rate: The MM3-4FXM4 is a module-format component with a finite installed base. As Hirschmann transitions its portfolio toward newer MACH series platforms, availability of MM3-series modules through OEM channels is declining. Procurement teams that delay sourcing risk paying 2–4× market price during emergency procurement cycles.

DriveKNMS operates as a specialized industrial automation and network hardware distributor with a sourcing network spanning Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific. Our value proposition is built on three pillars:
Q: What are your payment terms?
A: Standard terms are 100% T/T in advance for first-time orders. For established accounts, Net 30 or 50% deposit / 50% before shipment can be arranged. LC at sight is accepted for orders above USD 10,000.
Q: What is your warranty policy?
A: 12 months from invoice date. DOA (Dead on Arrival) units are replaced or refunded within 7 business days of confirmed fault report. Warranty does not cover physical damage caused during installation.
Q: Do you offer volume discounts?
A: Yes. Tiered pricing is available for orders of 5+ units. Annual blanket POs with scheduled releases are eligible for additional discounts and priority allocation.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Returns accepted within 30 days for unused, unopened units in original packaging. RMA number required. Buyer covers return freight unless the return is due to a DriveKNMS error.
