The ACS510 was introduced by ABB as a successor to the ACS400 series, consolidating pump/fan-optimized control logic into a unified hardware platform. The core architecture is built around ABB's Direct Torque Control (DTC) variant adapted for quadratic torque loads, with an integrated EMC filter (C2 category) and a built-in RFI filter as standard on most frame sizes.
