Servo motors are tested for resolver signal output, winding resistance, and insulation resistance at 500 VDC. SMB boards and axis computer cards are bench-tested under simulated IRC5 bus communication to verify encoder signal processing and EEPROM data integrity. All units are assigned a test record number and shipped with inspection documentation. Remanufactured gearboxes are filled with ABB-specified lubricant (Shell Tivela S 320 or equivalent) and sealed prior to packaging.
