The Evolution of ASD-MS Architecture

Delta's servo drive product line evolved through several distinct generations. The early ASD-A Series (circa 2005–2010) established the foundational closed-loop servo control architecture with basic pulse/direction command input. The ASD-A2 Series introduced enhanced auto-tuning algorithms and full closed-loop vibration suppression, targeting higher-precision applications.

The ASD-MS Series represents a mid-range, cost-optimized branch of this lineage — retaining the proven ASDA control core while reducing feature overhead for applications that do not require advanced fieldbus (EtherCAT, PROFINET) integration. Quality Control for the ASD-MS Range
