The PRTM-040 control board lineage traces to Fuji Electric's early 1990s FRENIC5000 G7/P7 inverter platform, where discrete gate drive circuits were first consolidated onto a single replaceable PCB assembly. The original PRTM series used through-hole component construction with optocoupler-based gate isolation rated at 2500 Vrms.
