Technical Dossier
The IS200 module family was introduced alongside the Mark VI Turbine Control System in the mid-1990s, replacing the earlier Mark V (IS200 predecessor boards used in the Mark IV/V era). The Mark VI platform standardized on VME-based backplane architecture with dedicated I/O terminal boards, communication adapters, and processor cards operating under GE's proprietary UCSC (Unit Control System Controller) framework. Early IS200 modules used parallel backplane communication; later revisions introduced high-speed serial backplane (HSRB) compatibility for Mark VIe migration paths.
By the 2000s, GE introduced the Mark VIe platform, which retained backward-compatible IS200 I/O terminal boards (such as the IS200EDCFG1B) while transitioning controller and communication layers to Ethernet-based I/O packs (IONet). This hybrid architecture means many plants running Mark VIe controllers still rely on IS200-series terminal boards for field wiring termination. As of 2026, the IS200 series is in its mature/end-of-life phase — GE no longer manufactures most IS200 modules as new production. Long-term maintenance support, spare parts sourcing, and refurbished module supply have become the primary procurement channels for operators committed to extending Mark VI/VIe system lifecycles beyond OEM support windows.
The following IS200 series modules are classified by functional category. Each SKU represents a verified, commonly deployed component within Mark VI or Mark VIe turbine control architectures.

Q: Can you support multi-unit or repeat RFQ requests?
A: Yes. Send the model list, target quantity and destination so DRIVEKNMS can review sourcing options and quote the requirement as a project RFQ.
IS200 series modules present specific testing challenges due to their backplane-dependent operation and proprietary GE communication protocols. DriveKNMS applies the following QC procedures to all IS200 inventory:
