The Evolution of P400MA Architecture

The P400MA platform was developed as part of Panasonic's mid-range PLC expansion strategy targeting process-intensive applications requiring high I/O density and network integration. Early revisions of the P400MA architecture relied on proprietary backplane bus communication with fixed-slot addressing, limiting hot-swap capability.
