The Schneider Electric Modicon Quantum platform is one of the most widely deployed Distributed Control System (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) architectures in global heavy industry. Installed across petrochemical refineries, nuclear power generation facilities, offshore oil and gas platforms, and large-scale chemical processing plants, the Quantum backplane architecture has maintained a dominant position in process automation since its commercial introduction in the mid-1990s. The 140NOE77110 is a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet TCP/IP Network Option Module designed for integration into the Quantum hot standby and standard rack configurations, supporting Modbus TCP/IP, I/O scanning, and Global Data services.
