Quality Control for the 3300 NSv Range

The 3300 NSv proximity probe system requires functional verification at the system level, not the component level. DriveKNMS applies the following test protocol to all 3300 NSv inventory prior to dispatch:

Gap voltage linearity test: Each probe-proximitor pair is bench-tested across the full linear range (typically 0.25mm to 2.25mm for 8mm probes) using a calibrated target plate of the specified shaft material (AISI 4140 or equivalent). Output voltage is recorded at 0.1mm increments and compared against the factory calibration curve. Deviation exceeding ±1% of full-scale output results in rejection.

Cable continuity and insulation resistance: Extension cables are tested for conductor continuity, shield integrity, and insulation resistance (minimum 100 MΩ at 500V DC) to detect micro-fractures in armored cable assemblies common in high-vibration installations.
