Condition & Reliability Assurance
Sourcing discontinued industrial electronics carries inherent risk. DriveKNMS applies a 5-step quality assurance protocol to every PW3-45/900 unit before it leaves our facility:
- Step 1 – Visual and Physical Inspection: Full examination of PCB surfaces, connector pins, and housing integrity. Any unit showing corrosion, mechanical damage, or evidence of prior field repair is rejected at this stage.
- Step 2 – Electrolytic Capacitor Assessment: Aged electrolytic capacitors are the primary failure mode in power supply modules of this era. Each unit undergoes capacitor ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) measurement. Units with out-of-specification capacitors are either recapped with equivalent-grade components or quarantined.
