DriveKNMS supports installed-base sourcing for this series through RFQ review, including model matching, condition checks and documentation requirements before quotation.
The COMPAX-S drive architecture integrates the servo amplifier power stage, motion controller DSP, and fieldbus communication on a common backplane within a compact housing. This integration, while space-efficient, requires a structured multi-stage test protocol to verify functional integrity of each subsystem independently before system-level validation. DriveKNMS applies the following test sequence to all COMPAX-S units processed through our facility: (1) Visual inspection of power terminals, option card connectors, and DC bus capacitor condition; (2) Insulation resistance test (Megger) on power input and motor output terminals at 500VDC; (3) Powered-up self-diagnostic via IDS software — verification of firmware version, parameter memory integrity, and fault history log review; (4) Closed-loop motor test using a matched Parker servo motor on a dedicated test rig, validating current loop, velocity loop, and position loop response at rated load; (5) Fieldbus communication test (where applicable) verifying node address assignment, cyclic data exchange, and diagnostic telegram response; (6) Thermal soak test at 40°C ambient for 2 hours under continuous duty cycle. Units that pass all stages are issued a DriveKNMS test certificate with date stamp, technician ID, and measured parameters recorded.
