The Evolution of PNOZ X Architecture

The PNOZ X series was introduced by Pilz GmbH & Co. KG in the 1980s as a discrete, relay-based safety switching device. Early variants — including the original PNOZ 1 and PNOZ 2 — established the dual-channel, force-guided contact architecture that became the industry template.
